Who the hell are Samhain?

I have seen the name a few places before but I am still wondering who they are.
Are they a tribute band?
Are they a band started by one of the old misfits members?
I am confused.
Samhain is Danzigs old band which came right after the Misfits. Kinda sounds like old Misfits stuff. But if you hear their newer stuff its more towards the metal side of music.........still good though. I recommend The Howl, I am Misery, Kiss of Steel. Those are all good songs. Hope i helped a little :)

Definetly gotta check out Samhain though. Also Gotham Road if you havent heard it (Michale Graves new band). I can give you some good horror tunes as well if you like...
