Not unusual, not global warming, it actually happens quite frequently it just isn't as publicized.

"All over the world"? I thought it was just in Arkansas, which is fine by me. I say we just quarantine the South, and force them to secede.

Could be a species wide epidemic.

We have the swine flu, bird flu, antrax etc....

Animals have things like lime disease....

Humans have kick ass immune systems, one of the reasons were able to withstand so much and overpopulate the world :D

Sure, but that doesn't explain the flocks (or whatever) dying at the same time. Like some kind of mass suicide or something.
