anyway, YOU must be on crack. there is good acting and then there's reggie. hey! i'm not saying it was the cast..phantasm is a great idea BUT it could use an update. that's just my opinion. don c'monmylastnameiswaaytoocomplicatedtospellcorrectl y kinda sucks and i think maybe carpenter could do a better job at the direction. Everyone loves pets, and redoing the movie would make it hella scarrier.

I just think some movies have an atmosphere that it would be impossible to rebuild. Hell, it's not all about having better technical conditions, you know? Phantasm is a good example of movie which, at least in my humble opinion, shouldn't be remade... And I do think the same applies to The Exorcist. As an example... They tried to "adapt" Carrie for the 90's with The Rage and... Well, see what they've done!
Anyway, I do think some movies could, and even should be remade... Movies in the cases of which some bettered effects might help with the mood... Don't know... Pet Semetary, perhaps?
