Yes Ive noticed that, but thats not the games its the players fault. I usually play with friends.

I don't like the removal of an option to definetely join a party. I also find the characters to be a bit bland, nothing like the originals. Other than that, it's brilliant, better than the first. Loving Scavenger mode, so much so that I've barely given time to Versus. All three new specials are incredible - love being the charger and just pwning some noobs. The campaigns are all great and inventive, the uncommon infected are refreshing and god do I love that racecar driver.

I know everybody says this, but I hope they bring out a DLC featuring the Midnight Riders! Can't wait for The Passing either.

This is a great game. I really do like it a lot more than the original.

Australian censors decided that it was too much for our fragile selves, so there is a censored version available here. There is minimal blood, no dismemberment, and the corpses disappear almost as soon as they hit the ground.

Watch a youtube clip of the Australian version of Left 4 Dead 2 to see how gay our country has become.

So, I acquired a copy from the US for the PC. So much fun. It seems harder than the original, and more complex. There is more to it than just blasting your way through the wall of zombies. For example, in the first scenario, you need to fill the car with fuel. Sure, it's not mind-blowing in its complexity, but it is nice to have some variety in the tasks that you need to perform.

Anyway, I feel that Valve have done a good job with this game, and it is a worthy sequel to the original, a definite improvement.

I remember playing L4D for the first time. My friend told me he had a zombie game (I thought it was dead rising) and was disappointed when it wasnt. But MAN the gameplay blew me away. It was totally insane and so intense. I live at Uni, and I was playing this with a few friends in a common room for hours, and I ended up making a new friend, who I ended up playing the game with until about 5am in the morning.

One thing we never did was choose Bill. Somehow, he ALWAYS saved our asses. He did it so much that my friend and I eventually started saying 'Thanks Bill' throughout the day, and even went as far as to writing it on a number of random doors (Every room in the dorms have a whiteboard) to try and get others to say it, or to wonder what the hell it was about, but nothing ended up happening ><

But yeah. L4D2 rocks too! And man I am sooooo excited that you can get a cricket bat in it! But I have yet to find one. and also, I found out that chainsawing a witch is pretty much an instant kill ^^

My experience with Left 4 Dead was it was incredibly fun for two weeks, then I got bored. Playing online helped a little, but you really need to find three friends that are dedicated to playing it with you and taking it seriously. I imagine that having three friends in real life to play Left 4 Dead marathons with you would make it incredibly fun. Unfortunately, most of my friends are non-video-game-playing-douchebags.
