Privilege The War Game The Gladiators Punishment Park A lot of 50's Sci-fi are sort of Satirical/Allegorical. They tend to fall into 2 camps: 1) Fear of Bomb/Fear of Nuclear Power - these are your basic giant monster movies from Godzilla to Them etc etc. 2) Fear of Communism/The Red under the bed - Films like Invasion of the body snatchers - I married a monster from outer space etc. |

I don't think you could call The War Game a satire, it was supposed to be a realistic documentary-style depiction of a nuclear war.

Thats true but the other 3 are defianlly satire and of all the Wtakins films i've seen i didn't want to leave it out.

The Ninth Configuration- Written and Directed by William Blatty. Very interesting movie with a brilliant, hilarious script. Amazing cast. Stacy Keach, Scott Wilson, Jason Miller, Joe Spinnel, Robert Loggia, Tom Atkins and Neville Brand to name a few. AKA Twinkle, Twinkle Killer kane
