I love that book. I haven't yet read World War Z by the same guy - it's supposed to be a real blast.

Nosfertu was only made because the german who made it couldn't buy the rights to dracula hence, Count Orlok. I love his shadow as he's walking up the stares. Classic.

Whoop de doo. I'm sick of all the TCM crap. I didn't think it was that great, sorry. Shoot me. I didn't like it at all, and I found it boring. It was repetitive, had no twists or anything that really should have made it recognized like it is today, so, i'm not sure why it's always number one or that close on most lists.

I added Scream, because it was a well made modern slasher, which is incredibly rare. It is also smart and well thought out, with many extreme twists in the plot along with a good deal of laughs, which in my opinion keep a horror movie watchable. Not saying if it isnt funny it isnt good, as you can obviously see in my signature, but Scream was a definite film that I would and have recommended to many people.

are you seriously saying that scream was better than TCM??? scream had no where close as much of a following as TCM did..TCM made a impact in the horror genre for its time(until dawn of the dead) TCM is at least one of the greatest horror movies of all time

News flash!!!!! you wouldnt have scream without halloween!!!:D

Posher778 that is the worst top ten list of horror I have ever seen. I'll give you The Thing, but good golly, the rest of those are Hollywood cheesers. Here are the first top ten that come to me in no order:

Texas Chainsaw Mass. (original)
Let Sleeping Corpses Lie
Nosferatu
Night of the Living Dead
Psycho (original)
The Exorcist
Rosemary's Baby
Zombie

Ok that's only 8, but there's also a bunch of great B's like Let's Scare Jessica to Death and Messiah of Evil which are better than that Hollywood crap.

No disresepct intended, I know you have the right to your opinions. Sometimes though expanding your horizons is a good thing...
