Wow School starting in August is crazy! School in my city starts tomorrow, and I start college tomorrow as well.

Bingo! Another reason Autumn is my favorite time of year. The weather cools off, it's my birthday season & I can usually get into an 11am movie on a weekday with no one around:D

Oh, and I love picking out the new lunchbox for the school year!
I love this idea!!
I never thought to even start one, but I have all year to think of something.

And I missed the lunch- box- picking- out- day this time...The Mom-Mom beat me to it:(

awwwwwww this is a cute thread..!!

I remember a week before my child started school..i dragged her all over town
..buying her new clothes...new shoes..lunch box..school bag..
filled my pantry with all the best school lunches..
the day arrived..i walked her little hand into her class..looking like she had just stepped out of a magazine..
my heart melted so much..
Picked her up that afternoon..she looked like she had just finished playing rubgy
n had traded her new shoes for a pair of
flower jandals..
her lunch box was still full cos her new freind shared her meat pie with her..
n that shopping day was the last mother n child bonding day.

School starting affects me in 1 way:

the annoying little punk-ass kids that live in my beighborhood will be carte doff en-masse to their prison and i dont have to deal with them.
