The guy who did High Tension(Alexandre Aja) is doing the The Hills Have Eyes remake, that's a good sign.

Holy old thread ressurection, batman!
I wouldnt mind seeing some worthwhile remakes of old crappyu movies (Like John Carpenter did with the Thing) I would love to see a modern remake of Day of the Triffids... One of my favorite cheesy apocalypse movies.

That i guaruntee would happen. it would be set in the modern era, with plasma missles and p-90s being used to fight mutant plants that move like spiderman....

I always thought "The Fog" could use a facelift. Looks like their working on it as we speak.....er...type.
"The Creature from the Black Lagoon" would be another. "The Legend of Hell House"....it would have to be much better than "The Haunting" remake.
