No Country For Old Men Not my favorite Cohen Brothers film, but I'd put it in their top 5, which makes it better than most other films out there regardless of genre. I loved the ending and how they play with audience expectations throughout the film. Nothing is over-explained, nothing is even remotely over-stated. Subtle, beautiful film making that left my head spinning, but was somewhat emotionally unfulfilling. Posher would hate it. 8.5/10 I'll probably like this one even better upon repeated viewings.

damn good film, intense as hell. great performances and all around beautiful film making. i'd give it a 8/10 ***SPOILER*** Didnt give the audience what it wanted.....on purpose though. good guy dies, bad guy lives and kills good guy's wife. harsh. i was a bit disapointed, because i really liked Josh Brolin's character.
