I actually liked 'In Fear' - caught it in the cinema without knowing much about it - I guess I am a bit bias towards Irish film though.

Amer (2009) I guess this giallo influenced film isn't for everyone as it is very unconventionally delivered and a bit confusing. But I did enjoy the experience of it, it was a thrill and I won't forget it.

Les Visiteurs (1993)
Starring Jean Reno. One of the few French movies I like. Must have been 10-15 years ago since I saw this movie and it's still as good as it was then. Good acting, fast pace, fun situations,... All the elements for a good comedy. A medieval nobleman and his squire are accidentally transported to contemporary times by a senile sorcerer. He enlists the aid of his descendent to try to find a way to return home, all the while trying to cope with the cultural and technological changes distinguishing his time from ours. Full movie's on Youtube with English subtitles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYZmx4HIhCw |

"Malignant" 5/10
Brian Avenet-Bradley's first movie since Dark Remains (2006) and his first movie ever with an A-actor involved (Brad Dourif). Brad Dourif was of course his usual crazy self. :D Unfortuntately this wasn't another scary ghost story, but instead more of a thriller much like the directors first two flicks "Freez'er" and "Ghost of the Needle". Original but fairly forgettable. Too bad, coz this guy knows his scares.

![]() The Landlady (1998) Watched this on a whim and some reason it drew me in. I really thought this was a late 80s film for a while into the movie. As crazy as the movie was I was hoping for a shock ending but unfortunately you can call it during the final scene. Not bad over all. |

X-Men: Days of Future Past
![]() This was incredible. I remember after First Class came out, i felt like it was the best X-Men movie ever made. Well this one just beat it. The story is great. It's creative, interesting, actually makes sense which was something i was worried about and ties into the original movies fantastically. The acting is really good, the action scenes are great especially the last act and any of the future parts with The Sentinels. The opening scene is especially chilling. Another thing i loved was that it fixes all the mistakes made in Last Stand very easily and nicely. Can't wait for the next one. 5/5
