Hatchet - 8/10
Old School American Horror indeed. A great tribute to classic slasher films! Smart, funny and gory as hell. I loved the parody the film had to offer. Adam Green did a fine job. Can't wait to see what he does next.

Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975)
A bit draggy at times, but overall it's a haunting and eerie Australian flick that still works very well.

A fun and gory good time. Definitely a must see during or around Halloween. Josh Hartnett is an awesome actor also.

It was ok, I'm not a huge fan of jigsaw though... and do you think they could do one of these movies without involving the police? I'm fed up with useing the flashback technique aswell, in prt 5 we will probably learn about jigsaws childhood, prt 6 his conception and so on.... The story was jumping all over the place aswell, I'm not sure if it was a bad script or bad editing. good gore though if that's all your after. 6/10
