Rob Zombie's gorific House of 1000 Corpses/Devil's Rejects overtakes and leads 5-4 over the Resident Evil(s)!!

more votes needed to decide this really tough and close match...

I'm just curious...

Obviously V is the tourney master here so it was ultimately his choice to make, but how many people consider Devil's Rejects & House of 1000 Corpses a franchise? To me, they are two individual and completely different films. Obviously Otis is the common bond between them, but there's not much else that connects them as far as I can tell. Thoughts?

Also, I may have missed it in Round 1, but is Kill Bill in this?

Not only Otis, but several other characters are same.

From IMDB :-

"Sequel to 'House of 1000 Corpses' is set some months later with the Texas State Police making a full-scale attack against the murderous Firefly family residence for the 1,000+ murders and disappearances of the past several years"

"This is the sequel to Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses, set some time after the original films plot line it opens with a raid on the murderous Firefly home by Ruggsville County Sheriff John Wydell, brother of Firefly victim Deputy George Wydell (from the first film)."

And yes, Kill Bill is also in this.

 I stand corrected! Guess DR is overdue for a rewatching. (Although, It'll be like watching it for the first time given this late breaking yesterday's news. I never knew it as a sequel! lol)

Maybe Sid Haig being 2 different characters was what threw me for a loop....

As far as I remember, Sid Haig was Capt Spaulding in both movies.

Gus propels the Rob Zombie gore dazzlers House of 1000 Corpses/ The Devil's Rejects to a tough and close 6-4 win over the Resident Evil(s)!!

next match up in a sec...
