For the record, i was being a little tongue in cheek about bart's penis, I didnt realise i would start a debate :)
That being said, I am no fan of wang beyond my own. If that makes me a prude, the oh well. I am certainly not against nudity in film, and I am not for it. Freedom of expression says show all the tits, ass and weiner you want, so go nuts. just dont give me shit for blowing off limbs in mine. (not that anyone here has, that was just a general statement) I have been holding on to Bad Taste for about a week, waiting for an opportunity to watch it.

Popcorn (1991)
I've honestly never even heard of this one before. I saw it listed on the my streaming horror channel (I'm in love with it), and checked it out. Wasn't breath-taking, but it was entertaining - which was what I was looking for. I really dig movies set at theatres. Something about the atmosphere. The films showcased in this movie had me wondering if they were infact real. I know there were similiar films, and similiar gags used during those film runs - did they just parody them here? Or are these films actually out there, as-shown? The twist and ending as a whole sort of left me underwhelmed, but with such a corny premise I wasn't expecting anything great. To my surprise, I was most entertained not during the deaths or the 'tense' moments, but during the film festival preperations and the audience's reactions. 6/10 |
