Phantom of the Opera (1943)

As much as love everything and anything to do with Phantom, this one was a little disappointing. It wasn't bad by any means, but there was way too much Opera and not nearly enough Phantom. The overall look of the film was amazing though, and Claude Rains made a great Phantom...shame he didnt get much time on screen.

Angel Heart ~ Haven't seen it in years, but as good as I remembered, really like this film a lot, even though yes, it has its flaws.

The Truman Show ~ First time viewing this and I really enjoyed it.

Running On Empty ~yeah, made my husband watch this one.....;)

The Evil Dead ~ one of my favorites.

No, you are thinking of Primal Force. Primal Fear is a courtroom thriller/drama with Richard Gere and Edward Norton.

It was okay.

Too bad all the good guys had to die and the most annoying pain in the ass had to survive. WHAT THE HELL WAS HOMER THINKING?!!!

Apocalypto-

Pretty solid entertainment in the main but a little too cliched and predictable.7/10

A massive Troy Director's Cut is coming out this fall, so you might want to give it another chance then. The theatrical cut was so-so in my books, but apparently this cut transforms an average film into an 'epic'. Who knows.

Tonight's schedule:
The Chumscrubber
My Life Without Me
Talk to Her & Amores Perros
