If... (1968)
An uneven, yet thoroughly engaging indictment of the English boarding school system. Sometimes silly, sometimes quite funny with flashes of true cruelty and brutality. The film's odd oscillation between color and b&w feels forced and gimmicky, but a young Malcolm MacDowell shines as his misguided rage boils over. 7/10

Double Indemnity (1944)
In keeping with my viewing streak of flawless films, I decided to watch Billy Wilder's unbelievably entertaining film noir. Definately remains in my top fifty personal favorites; this one only improves with age- it lasts as a tense, smart, classy thriller.
