Oriental Duck with wine.
I hate when places don't sell beer, completely inhuman practice.

Fruit pastilles are an english sweet made by rowntree's. They're like wine gums but less chewy and are coated in sugar.

Had a friend over a couple of nights ago...so decided to make something nice... Atlantic salmon tail, panfried in a very small amount of butter, cracked pepper, oregano - lightly doused in white wine (semillon sauvignon blanc, if it matters) and lemon juice while cooking. Served Rare, skin crispy and golden, ever so slightly blackened around the edges. Threw some shredded dill over that. Ahhh...omega-y goodness... Served that along side some fresh (cooked, peeled and chilled) tiger prawns in lemon/pepper and a salad: Iceberg lettuce, kumato, spanish onion, yellow capsicum, shredded corriander, vegetarian cheese, organic avocado. Lightly dressed in a full-egg mayonnaise-based dressing, with lemon juice, ground sumac, grilled capsicum paste, and capers. Flatleaf parsley over the top. Threw in some baked flatbread with it. ...Worked rather well with a half case of beer. Last night I sauteed some onions, threw in some low fat pork mince, cooked in white wine and spicy plum sauce, and a little sage. Turned out sweet, and juicy. The rest was pretty simple, we had taco shells in the oven for a little bit, and ate it all together with some fresh salad. All done in abotu 10 minutes, a pretty good, quick meal. Er...just made myself a half a cheese sandwich with the aforementioned vegetarian cheese, some yogurt/garlic sauce (well...there's a bunch more in that than garlic, but I don't feel like typing all that much), and a little green tobasco. I really do like green tobasco - it's a step down in spice, but very good with salads...etc.

We have something like that...gummi style candy with a gel centre?
Not sure what they're called, but a company/brand called starburst made them.

yeh, it's that kind of thing. We have starburst. Years ago they were called Ople fruits. I don't like the normal starburst sweets, but I like the joosters.
