I for one, believe that there is a God. And the God I Believe in is a God that should be feared. I fear God not because of Death, but because I know he has the power to separate me from him, for Eternity.

EDIT:

I wanted to add, that I as a Christian, make mistakes, I probably make more mistakes than non-Christians, but I try not to make the same mistakes again. And when I do, I know that God will forgive me, no matter what, as long as my heart is pure.

How the fuck should I know probably!
Why? Because it's a brilliant film, it's so funny, and the soundtrack kicks fucking ass!

Well, i was asked to close this thread actually...and would have about 3-4 pages ago as Visions and Wufong had a pretty nice flamewar going on....

But it seems to have settled down now, so we'll see how it turns out....

On a side note, i really wish i had met more Christains like You HC, and you Bwind....if i had i think i would have been alot more open to Christianity throughout my years....

Indeed. I find it a rare occurrence that Christians are actually open to civil discussion and are at least willing to consider other theories and beliefs. No offense to Christianity, but it seems that the Christians that I know are much worse morally than the atheists I know.

Thanks! Egekrusher! Yeah being a Christian definitely isn't easy, I find myself having to ask for God's forgiveness every second of every day. And I'm glad that he's there to forgive me. I find that I feel better after I do.

Thanks! Yeah I wish you had too. Unfortunately there are alot of Christians out there that believe the appropriate way to spread the gospel is to 'scream' at non-believers that they're going to hell. I believe the appropriate way is to love them, for just being themselves, and if and when God guides them they'll come to you asking about your faith...that's how I became a Christian.
