We should send the book around as the next "package" so that we can all praise it online and give it mad international props.

I thought I'd find this because I had a good day today.
Hit up this big place called Bunnings...think Wallmart but with yknow, only useful stuff, like a GIANT hardware/houseware/fix-it/gardening store.
I could seriously spend all damn day in this place.

They have various groups (girl scouts etc) that kind of put up a little stall in front of it on weekends and sell bbq'd sausage sandwiches with grilled onion...got us a couple of those...bad for you yet oddly enticing.

I was there to get some high quality potting mixture, as I'll soon be FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY starting up my indoor growing project, and I needed to space out some seedlings and get them full of good nutrients etc before transplant into another medium and/or a move indoors.
So I got this big bag of stuff, it was $13AUD for 25kg, which puts it between the middle of the range and top-end in quality. I could go through all the properties it has but it'd be boring - it had what I needed.

We also found a markets we'd never seen before...unfortunately it was closing up by then but we managed to buy some wholesale candy. Nice.

So we came home after, got some pots out and replanted the seedlings.
We also replanted some Geranium plants we'd grown from cuttings.
We also replanted a rosemary we're growing from a cutting too.

I made out of some discarded plastic bottles, individual moderate airflow germination chambers to keep 'em warm while they're still outdoors, and also, aside from my "nice" strain seedlings planted some of my imports, which I've yet to try
Those are KC33 x Master Kush & B-52 for anybody interested.
That said I'll probably only be doing 2 at a time indoors along with some fruit/herbs, the rest will go to friends.

As we had extra potting mix left, then there was the big project.
It was unexpected but we were already with the dirt 'n stuff, so decided it was a long time coming. Outside on our front balcony we have an Aloe Vera plant.
A big aloe vera. It's been in this pot for YEARS. I have noticed it's spawned as well, like years ago (again), but it's kind of been watered and not a lot else.

So with a lot of effort, we got this sucker outta it's pot.
Lots of little spiders were crawling about which was a bit annoying, but they were too small to be effectual.
You should've seen the bunch of roots this thing had...it was insane...the entire pot was more full of roots than the old dirt, so I got to work.
I removed the "babies" this thing actually spawned 14 individual aloe vera plants of different sizes, I really don't know how they all managed to stay alive.
So transplanted those into individual pots, well group pots for some but comparatively a LOT more soil room for their roots, and better quality stuff too.

The big one, I had to "manicure" the roots off it...it was just a mess. But we made a hybrid mix of the old (sieved) dirt and this potting mix, cut off all the dead parts and replanted it.

All up we were at it for 2-3 hours.
But my "garden" looks very nice now, and I feel accomplished actually doing something I'd put off for literally years.

Had some nice chicken for dinner too.

Looked over anthologies on Ralanīs List that will cause me to come up with cool story ideas for them that I will not write. Remembering actual antho and magazine commitments. Nine days, five thousand words, two book reviews. Seen worse. Mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwich. Delicious, but probably should not have eaten buffalo wings for breakfast. The two combine to make an aftertaste that I would not wish upon my worst enemy.

Should be sleeping - obviously am not.

I've lived in the same house my entire 19 years of life, and tomorrow I venture off into the great unknown of life on my own. Most of you have been here, so you know how ridiculously fucking pumped I am. I love the city I've grown up in, but I've exhausted my experience here - it's a great place and it's been very good to me...there just isn't anything left. Thus, I'm moving halfway across the country to expand my horizons: theatre school.

Hop a plane at 5:30 am tomorrow, arrive in Toronto for a few days to check out the Festival of Fear, and then off to London, Ontario where I'll spend my next 2 years fully immersed in my passion. I don't know one living soul in the entire city, nor have I ever seen he place I'll be living. 100% clean slate, a new beginning, and an adventure that I've been anticipating for years.

Wish me luck.

Good luck, good luck. I am a mere bus ride away (and not a terribly long one either, had a stop over in London on my way to Windsor) so I will visit at some point! Enjoy your schooling, Fanshawe is amazing. (You are going to Fanshawe right? My bf was going to go there for theatre but changed his mind last minute.) Good luck. good luck. good luck.

Aug 28. 420 am.

Woke up not long ago having an allergy attack. Just season allergies I think, but my throat feels like it's swollen shut, and it hurts really bad to swallow. I'm afraid to try to go back to sleep, so I have decided to stay up and attempt to regulate my sleep schedule before school.

I might need to take a few naps through out the day to keep me from getting sick/low immune system just in time for school. Today is going to be a looong day as it is because I need to clean my friend's house for my boyfriend's birthday party tomorrow, and bake a cake. I was going to make cake pops (cake on a stick dipped in chocolate) but I would have needed to bake the cake yesterday and I was busy.

For the second time in the last half hour, I have realized that sleepy posting is not unlike drunk postng so I will go away now.

Currently...

...pretty drunk. Running around my residence building on campus, acting like the Joker and scaring the Hell out of people. Wish I had costume + makeup with me, would be way more fun.
