and right now i'm in the middle of watching Saw 2.. this movie is 'suspenseful' (horror style) and I am enjoying it so far, i think the only thing that will ruin the movie for me will be a horrible ending.. which i doubt seeing as how the first one ended well and they are releasing a third.

Tommorrow - Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake) and The hills Have Eyes. If time allows I'll probrablly pop in Silent Hill as well (I'll be damned biased on that one).

R.I.Peace out folks.

Saw 2 has a pretty awesome ending I thought.

Anyways, Sam Raimi shows why we all tend to adore his work in this dark, violent tale of vigilante justice. A tragic hero, a nasty villain, a good story, good action, good acting and nice direction, and even a Bruce Campbell cameo. What more could you ask for from an early 90's comic style action film?

B+
a lot of forshadowing re. spiderman as well..

Saw 2 > Saw

I thought the ending of the first Saw was totally a film-killer. It punched way to many holes in the plot for me to enjoy it. Saw 2's ending actually makes sense and is executed well. This is one of the very few cases that I prefer the sequel to the original. (Also, the blond guy in the original... He was a terrible fuckin' actor.)

Cary Elwes? Terrible? He's the Dread Pirate Westly! Robin Hood! (with an English accent no less)

Maura Tierney's douchebag boyfriend in Liar Liar!

He's a good actor usually, but Im with Bwind on this: He sucked ass in Saw.

And for the record, I didnt like Saw 2's ending.

***Spoilers (obviously)***

The Amanda thing was OK, but chaining the detective to the wall just goes against EVERYTHING that Jigsaw "teaches". There is no weay for him to redeem himself, to learn a life lesson. I thought it was pretty dumb, despite the movie being better overall than #1.
