ATROCIOUS

In April 4th of 2010, Quintanilla family was found murdered in their country side house. Police reported the existence of 37 hours of recorded evidence. "Atrocious" shows the real images of such evidence. Quintanilla family traveled to their old farm house in Sitges, where Christian and July investigated about the Legend of the Girl in the Garraf woods. Both of them used to record all day whatever they did. On the fifth day of their arrival they were found dead under strange circumstances. ATROCIOUS shows the last five days of life for Cristian Quintanilla and his siblings. It also shows the strange situations that they lived in those moments and which remain unexplained.

Underworld: Awakening

Underworld Awakening brings a stunning new dimension to the epic battle between Vampires and Lycans, as the first film in the franchise to shoot in 3D.

Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.

The film opens in theaters January 20, 2012.

CARNAGE ...Roman Polanski's latest. With Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz, and John C. Reilly.

The film tells the story of two sets of parents who decide to have a cordial meeting after their sons are involved in a schoolyard brawl.

Only just seen this on television, but it looks pretty damn good. Another 'found footage' outing, but I can see it working. As much as I enjoyed Cloverfield, you'd have to be an absolute dickhead to care about "recording the footage" throughout that entire event. In this situation, it seems logical.

I'm looking forward to "Apollo 18". Also, "Carnage" looks pretty good.

AMERICAN PIE: AMERICAN REUNION ...are you ready for one final dose of Pie? Original cast of Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Tara Reid, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Mena Suvari, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Chris Klein, Alyson Hannigan, Shannon Elizabeth, Jennifer Coolidge, John Cho and Eugene Levy are back!

The synopsis tells us these characters are headed back to East Great Falls High School for their high-school reunion and in one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn't and that time and distance can't break the bonds of friendship. It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys began a quest to lose their virginity. In the years that have passed, Jim (Biggs) and Michelle (Hannigan) married while Kevin (Nicholas) and Vicky (Reid) said goodbye. Oz (Klein) and Heather (Suvari) grew apart, but Finch (Thomas) still longs for Stifler's mom (Coolidge). Now these lifelong friends have come home as adults to reminisce about — and get inspired by — the hormonal teens who launched a comedy legend.

Premieres on Lifetime on October 10th, 2011.


MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE ...opens October 21st. The film has garnered a lot of attention for Olsen for her astonishing performance as a young woman having trouble reconnecting with her family after fleeing a cult. Damaged by her experiences there (and, indeed, beforehand, or she might not have joined a cult in the first place), she struggles with haunting memories and an unhealthy dose of paranoia.

Stars Elizabeth Olsen as Martha, a damaged woman haunted by painful memories and increasing paranoia, who struggles to re-assimilate with her family after fleeing a cult.
