Your short wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. That is because it was very abrupt. It was so abrupt that everything in it carried no emotional weight. And if the viewer doesn't make that connection then the short will not register as being any better then a passable, but quickly forgettable thrill.
[spoilers] There is a guy in the woods. Oh he died. Now he is not dead, but understands how to move forward from his death experience. Its really only a video game a young boy is playing. His sister wants to play. He killers her. The End.
