Ghosts Bricked Up

Hi all,

I saw a movie when I was young, no idea of the name.
I believe it was in color

I believe a new couple bought a house or inhereited and were doing some remdeling, found a fireplace that had been bricked up and decided to remove the bricks and something got out

I think we got too scared at that point and turned it off.

Any ideas for the name of the movie?
