polaroids and ghosts
Anyone know the speel of ghosts and poloroids in Asian flicks? Seems to be almost common knowledge to be able to use polaroid film to captrure the image of a ghost. But why?

the roots of photography and ghosts go all the way back into the 19th century and the origins of photography. there is also a clear interest in technology and spirits in japanese film - maybe something to do with old and new cultures in clash
