I'm diggin' the site. Although it is centered more on the investigation and the attempted apprehension and not focused on the violent nature of the crimes, I really enjoyed "Zodiac" (2007). If I were to suggest something a little more brutal I would recommend "Henry: Protrait of a serial killer." There are a few movie mentioned in this thread that I have not seen, I plan to change that soon.
