The Last House on the Left (1972) - Honestly, I wasn't expecting much going in to this. After watching it, I can say I was pleasantly surprised. There were no performances that blew me away, but the vileness of the villains carried the film to an uneasiness that is hard to match. The villains were cast really well and that's what makes this film so enjoyable. (Enjoyable might not be the right word, but it is a really good film.) I think this is my favorite Wes Craven movie.

I will definitely check it out. David Hess just seems like a sleazy motherfucker. It's perfect for that kind of role.

"Megan is missing" 7/10
My least favorite horror genre.. There's a very good chance this will be the only time I'm ever gonna watch 10 minutes straight of someone digging a hole in the ground.

After the first 7 minutes i had to as well. You knew what was coming anyways.
An important movie nevertheless and not a bad watch. I personally just don't appreciate being disturbed. But unlike Eden Lake for instance, this one actually had a message to tell.
