			Cold Souls (2009)

![]() Paul Giamatti (played by Paul Giamatti himself) feels burdened by his soul, so he decides to store it temporarily for a time; later, when he tries to get it back but finds it had disappeared! or may be illegally smuggled to Russia!! It may sound like a similar story from the mind of Kaufman (Being John Malkovich or ESOSM) but it's really a pretty original & interesting premise with fantastic dark humor all over where as usually Giamatti delivered a wonderfully amusing performance. Recommended. >>: B+ Pure Blood (2000) ![]() A weird dreadful South African Indie horror. >>: D The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009) ![]() >>: B-

Absolute cinematic madness, and more fun than a barrel of monkeys. If you haven't seen this absolutely unique work of frenzied filmmaking, do it soon. Criterion should be putting it out later this year.
