Six screws and a plate in my right ankle.




I'm now in a light blue fiberglass cast which I should be able to get out of in a couple of weeks and graduate to a boot.

Thankfully the most acute of the pain subsided (the surgery was actually on the 14th)... I'm off the hard stuff and on to ibuprofen now to deal with the dull aches and pains.

As far as I know, yes - No plans for a follow-up surgery, so looks like the plate and screws are a permanent addition.
