BTW The Desperate Hours (a Bogart film from the 50's) is the archetype for the home invasion film. Great flick too - A remake was do in the 90's with Mickey Rouke as the bad guy (as I remember this wasn't so great..

^^ I really liked the remake to be honest.
------ I don't really get why someone would bother only watching post-90s films. The majority are lightweight and lack the grit/sleaze that makes shit like "home invasion" flicks really work and get under your skin. |

I wasn't too huge a fan of this. The family went through entirely too much torture, and the pay-off at the end wasn't nearly satisfying enough.
