I loved The Dark Knight, but I could have told you months ago it wouldn't get a Best Picture nod- and I don't even know if it deserves one. It's a great superhero movie- leave it at that.

They nominated The Reader and Benjamin Button. I understand Button being nominated for Best Actor and Best Director. But the writing was pretty dull. I think The Dark Knight, The Wrestler, and Wall-E were better than the nominees, except Milk.

But oh well, didn't these people nominate Babe for Best Picture? And give Best Picture to Lord of the Rings?
