Otis- 8/10

That mom is totally not even as impulsive as my mom. I loved it.

However.

*spoiler*
I really wish that it would've turned into a real revenge movie in the end, but I still enjoyed how it was a comedy the whole way.
*end spoiler*

Yeah, Return, I'd have to second this.
Double Indemnity is one of my very favorite movies of all time, and definately my favorite Wilder movie.

Four Rooms

Well, I've got no idea what the hell I just watched...but I can say that it was easily the funniest movie that I've seen in ages. Roth is brilliant!

If you like off-the-wall, vaguely surreal comedy, you have to the check this out. Parts of it are super dark, there's slapstick humor, nice tits...its got something for everyone ;)

Now I'm pretty sure I've seen all of Tarantino's movies, minus My Best Friend's Birthday (but does that even really count?)

Masters of Horror: Sounds Like

It amazes how for the second season of this show, they managed to get a bunch of really talented directors together...then make them all seem exactly the same. I'm starting to think Mick Garris does all of these, then slaps other people's names on 'em.

I did enjoy this to an extent, I was just expecting more from someone like Brad Anderson - Session 9 + The Machinist are among my favourite films, so I had high expectations. The lead actor was really good, but otherwise this really wasnt anything special.

Bringing Out The Dead

Probably one of Scorsese's most underrated movies, and definately one of Nick Cage's best performances. It was pretty slow, but I really enjoyed it.

I never really had much interested in it, to be honest. Bought it awhile back just to complete my Tarantino collection, but didn't think it looked all that great.

Couldn't have been more wrong! Had a smile on my face from start to finish...don't think I'd be able to pick a favourite story if I had to :D

Do yourself a favor and buy the Universal Legacy DVD. Great transfer, good commentary, documentary, bonus film (DI remake), etc.

That's this one, right?

If so, I'll probably order it in a day or two.
