Pan-fried some button mushroom and english spinach leaves in a little butter, salt, pepper, chilli flakes, grated nutmeg.
Added some chopped ginger.

Chopped an onion, fried some bacon

Put that all together in a sandwich with some kaffir lime salt that I made, and grilled it.

Also made one with just cheese an onion.

Dammit, I always get so hungry when I read your foody stuff! :D

I took Dad out to eat Sunday evening for Father's Day. I had cheese filled pasta with shrimp, topped with a creamy garlic sauce. Yummy!

Had some dessert...kinda "developed" this one, and it's turned out pretty good.
I don't mind sharing.

Responsibility drives me to tell you in advance, it's probably not very healthy.

First, get some bananas (3), a little on the harder side of ripe.
Cut them vertically right down the middle, and then in halves. Coat in some ground cinnamon and nutmeg, and a little icing sugar (not too much icing sugar), and a little ginger POWDER if available.

Chop some ginger, VERY finely, in small peices...about a teaspoon full.

Get a frypan on low heat, and add about a tablespoon and a half of butter, 1/4 cup of stones ginger wine (if this isn't available, ASK...great to drink, great to cook with), and a half a cup of your chosen brand of butterscotch flavoured schnapps.
Heat these gently until fully combined, while stirring.

Add your bananas flat side down and allow to simmer, moving them about here and there. Throw in your ginger peices, and allow to simmer a couple more minutes. Turn over the bananas, making sure to coat them in the sauce...which will slowly start to caramelise - Do NOT let this burn...keep the heat at low to medium, simmer is all you should see, not boil., Keep the bananas moving, recoating as required, until cooked to your desire.
Take them out, and simmer the sauce a little more which should resemble a light coloured caramel by now, and be somewhat thickened.
Pour over the bananas and serve.

It's basically bananas in caramel sauce, with a great hint of ginger and spices...it was an improv kinda thing at first, but it's really good...good luck if anyone decides to give it a go.
