If you want to see some really brutal seriel killer movie you need to get August Underground, August Underground's MORDUM and Murder-Set-Pieces. If you want more of the softer ones also check out Starkweather and Monster. I personally thought Monster was amazing.
I would have said some of those, but When she asked for Serial Killer movies. I thought she wanted films that were true stories. Thats all.

Argento makes great films about serial killers, some people find them too pretty and not stark enough, but I think they're the best stuff in the genre, personally. I really didn't like the Dahmer movie. it seems to bring serial killing down to being bored, gay and having an asshole father. The Dahmer and Bundy movies have this draining "Eleanor Rigby" vibe. And there has NEVER been a good accurate movie made about Whitechapel. Anybody who wants to see what an embarassment From Hell actually was (no disrespect to Alan Moore) should check out www.casebook.org. Argento's movies are about the happiest medium you can reach between the histrionic serial killings of slasher films and the actions of real serial killers.

Yep.

Its worth 3.00! I paid a hell of a lot more than that. It's wierd, the direction is definately different, but worth the purchase for your collection.

Its not good but it is watchable... strange because its really a shitty movie...

...and even though its about serial killers...its not a serial killer movie...its more like a quasi hippie terror movie
