Don't Look in the Basement (part 2?)

http://www.anthonybrownrigg.com/id

Thirty years later, I am making a sequel to my fathers original drive in slasher. I would love to hear thoughts on the original movie, as the script is still being completed. This script will not be slasher like the original, but rather more of a thriller/suspense/gore. Many of the original cast will have cameos, and at least one of the surviving characters will be making a reappearance.

Nothing on the site yet except the poster. But more to come as things develop.

I will freely admit, the film was shot on a budget of 50thousdand. Its got a lot of plot holes in it, but the characters are memorable... senseless, gore, killing, bloody sex. Yep, its there. Its the characters and the story im focusing on more than anything else at the moment.

Well, I haven't seen the first yet, but it sounds pretty good... sounds like the kind of movies I like... low budget movies from the 60's and 70's. I'll have to see if my local video store has it.

I loved the original! I always had a crush on Rose Holitec(is that how you spell her name?) Maybe now that I'm in my 20's and she's probably in her 50's I could get it on with her if we ever met! lol!

Well, let me tell ya, she looks fantastic. I would have put her in her early to mid thirties judging by how she looks now. In fact when I saw her again, I couldnt believe it was really her.

FYI to everyone. I am planning a shoot this weekend with SAM (bill Mcghee) for a short teaser trailer, that will be up on the new website. I'll let everyone know when that goes up.

Wow, this is one of the first horror films I ever bought on DVD, I really enjoyed it. The first death scene is excellent, senseless violence, makes me want to watch it again when I get home.
