do ya keep getting logged off

every time I take a couple of minutes away from the pc, to do something, like answer the phone, feed the cat etc, I come back and I'm logged off this forum.

bugs me having to keep logging back in all the time. There's nowhere in user/cp to change anything relating to this.

Other vB forums I post on never do this, is this a function setup by the mods here??

You do? And it still isnn't working? Strange. Try clicking "no." Then close all the windows (not house windows. The cumputer windows that are open. Y'know, press the "X" on the upper right-hand-side.) Open up a new window, log back in, click "yes" again in the box. Now see if it works. If not, restart your computer. Works for me everytime some mishap such as you are having occurs.
