Question Blue Ray player and Ps3 not playing some dvds?

This is a list of the movies I have watched so far they are on dvd unless stated otherwise.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge

A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors

A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master

A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child

Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare

Wes Craven's New Nightmare

Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th Part 2

Friday the 13th Part III

Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter

Friday the 13th: A New Beginning

Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives

Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood

Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday

Jason X (Did not work at all in Blue Ray or ps3 did not test on laptop and already threw it away.)

Freddy vs. Jason(When the New Line Cinema intro starts it freezes but if you skip it the movie plays just fine.)

Leprechaun (1993) Does not work in Blue Ray player and when put into my ps3 the ps3 sounds like it's about to take off to the

moon. When put it laptop it seems to have trouble playing it but it is watchable.

Are the dvds I have bin having trouble with just starting to die and should I just not use them so they don't put strain on any of my players?

ps I have checked for dust or scratches on these discs that have had trouble and there was no dust or scratches thanks for any help.
