Christmas movies

I know that Halloween is the preferred holiday, but I do love me some Christmas movies. What's your favorite? Mine is a tie between "White Christmas" (I watch it every Christmas Eve) and "It's A Wonderful Life".

newb, you reminded me of another one: A Christmas Carol (1951 version with Alastair Sim)

I also like The Holiday with Jude Law and Kate Winslet. Yeah, I know, it's a sappy love story, but for some reason I really like it.

Do you know I've never seen A Christmas Story?!

Die Hard & A Christmas Carol (1951) are two of my favourite Christmas movies. I'll probably watch some of these too....

Gremlins
Black Christmas
A Nightmare Before Christmas
Scrooged

And lots more I've forgotten about.

I'll repeat what others have mentioned, A Christmas Story is a must see!! Darren McGavin is wonderful as the father.

I've always been fond of:

A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim
Miracle On 34th Street (the original)
March Of The Wooden Soldiers (with Laurel and Hardy)

and the horror:

Black Christmas
Gremlins
And All Through The House (Tales From The Crypt)

My favorite version of A Christmas Carol has always been the Mr. Magoo one... yes, I'm serious...

Not a movie, but Pee Wee's Christmas Special is... well... special.
