Tom Malloy, writer/producer of The Alphabet Killer, is producing a short horror film by director Richard Cruz

A boy explores a forest alone until a Banshee, a nature spirit, leads him to a logging area, revealing it to be a gaping, gruesome wound.

Years later, he’s now a farmer with a wife and a sick baby.

The Banshee is a distant memory until the day he hears its screeching wail again. Once more, he chases it through the woods, running aimlessly and trying to figure out the source and cause of the scream.

As he finally gives up, he returns home to find the horrifying truth about what the Banshee's wail really means...
