I used to go buy 5-10 from the pawn shop every payday. That built up my collection pretty fast.

Yo! What the hell, man!! A DVD collection shouldn't be made up of any old shit you find a pawn shop! You'd better not let a date see that shit. To me, a DVD collection should be made up of those films that have meaning or are aesthetically/intellectually pleasing. I mean, come on ... You have a girl over there and she'll browse your collection and think:

"Hmmm .... ooookay, so this is the kind of guy that says 'I just have to have the first two seasons of Saved by the Bell to go with my copy of Air Force One. Hm. I wonder where the nearest exit is."

You get my drift? Now, I'll admit you have many decent titles there ... but your collection could certainly use some weeding. :D

Hey Stingy, my girl was the one that bought me Saved by the Bell. (Which, by the way, is a kick ass show! You wouldn't know, you're too old. :p )

Air Force One was also a gift. (Not from her though.)

I didn't buy any of the DVDs at the pawn shop. That's where most of the VHS came from though. ($4 each, how can you beat it?)

LOL Yeah, those gifts are hard to lose. I still have a copy of Thirteen Ghosts (the remake) floating around mucking up my collection. As far as Saved by the Bell goes ... I know the show. It sucks. Unless you wanted it for the actresses ......... now that's a different story all together. :p

To be perfectly honest, Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Amber-Thiessen) was the sole reason I got into that show in the first place. Screech (Dustin Diamond) is a great actor and Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Goessler) was the man. I always wanted to be him because of the way he had that whole damn school wrapped around his finger. I may be labeling myself a dork here, but I even used to dress like him when I was in 5th grade (During the shows heyday.)

Okay, okay... I am labeling myself a dork, but what can you expect, I was in 5th grade!

Good question. I guess it's because I never saw it at the pawn shop. If I had, I would have grabbed it for sure. Great movie!
