Stabbed

...ha, kind of...
Earlier today, I walked out of my bathroom barefoot to find one cat was eating from the others bowl - I went to grab him, and he's the one that kind've doesn't like me so he thinks he's in trouble and starts hissing and carrying on when I'm taking him to his own foodbowl that he's just chosen to ignore.
So, I'm walking quickly wanting to dump the cat near his food and be done with it...and I step on something.
Now, if you've ever stepped on a lego, or some kind've hard plastic-y thing that's how it felt, but then some. I lifted my foot up and whatever I'd stepped on kind've stuck to me for a couple of seconds before dropping off.
It was my mobile phone charger.

So yeah, the thing has actually went in while bending too...lemme tell you something here, I don't even think a nail in the foot would be as painful as this is right now, some hour and a bit later...I mean, at least they're kinda made to go in, right?
This thing wasn't, feels like right now the whole bottom of my foot is bruised and being pressed on.
All I can say is I'm glad both prongs didn't go in.
S'all good though, I'm not loving it but I can take a fair bit of pain...just being in pain for so long after the incident is a little annoying, but yeah it started to close up more or less straight away.

Here's a Picture:

Seriously, if you walk around barefoot as much as I do, for something to actually pierce the foot is unusual, as you can see I'm pretty calloused...DO NOT leave phone charger plugs around on the floor, they can and will bust up your foot.

Ouch. That looks nasty.

How the hell did the charger end up on the floor anyway? I mean, its not something I would leave on the floor myself. More of a table/bed/chair kinda thing...charge the mobile and wrap it up, thats all it does.

Yeah well, lesson learned eh?
Can't say I know what it was doing on the floor, just that it won't soon be there again.

That sucks. I stepped on a packing staple once, it went straight into my heel. I had to get a tetanus shot for it. It seemed to take forever to heal because you have to walk on it. Get well soon. :)

Ouch. I hate stubbing my toe but that seems much worse. Worse than the time I got a staple in my thumb! Seriously. Ouch. Hope you recover soon, though I would love to see you attempt to walk right now.
