Tobe Hooper's Eggshells

Apparently Tobe hooper had made a film before The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, named Eggshells. it has an IMDB page, but no description or cast, and under triva it just says "this film is believed to be lost", however there are several reviews from people who claim to have seen it. Does anyone know anything about this film, how it was lost, what its about ect.?

obviously i've never seen it, but judging by the reviews and stuff on imdb, it sounds really strange/interesting.
too bad it appears to be lost. could be an incredible little gem, and we'll probably never know.

By everything I've heard, it's your basic late 60s "peace, love and understanding" student film, heavy on the pot, protest signs and hippie jargon(Texas style). Billie Jack without the kicks to the head. I would think it would have turned up in a doc, on one of the various TCM vids by now. At least clips. Historically important, but I don't hold out much hope for seeing it, anymore than I do Hitch's lost silents.
