I am a big fan of Deranged Family movies.. anyone else on the board into them..??? I just love a family living out in the woods slaughtering people.. Just a few of my favorites : TCM, American Gothic, Mothers Day, and many more. I know Dr.K is a fan of rural horror..

The Hills Have Eyes, Motel Hell, and The People Under the Stairs come to mind as well.

Does she have a series of tunnels that run under the rooms? If so, this movie used to crack me up. A bit of a Psycho rip though.

The Frighteners and The Baby (VERY freaky!)would qualify as well as House of 1000 corpses obviously :)
