i like the original night of the living dead the most because the end mostly i like how one of the main charters dies that way after you think hes ok and going to surive. the new one for some reason he just turns into a zombie(if any one can tell me how that happend i would appericate it) thanx

He died overnight from his gunshot wounds and hence, after death, returned to life as a zombie.

Think about all the corpses who just came back to life at the beginning of the film. They weren't bitten. It just happened. The same thing happened to the Ben character. They never really give a 100% definite reason for the zombies.

But, by the time of Return of the Living Dead 1, 2, and 3, Dawn Of The Dead and Day Of The Dead, whatever the contaminant was, it had dissipated enough so that it was left solely in the reanimated corpses, which you had to be bitten or scratched by to become infected...That's why not EVERYONE in those movies automatically became zombies after they died

thanx alot i see what your saying i wish they would make a another night of the living dead movie and explain it better (not talken about r.o.t.l.d.) but at the same time i dont because if they made it know it would not have the same feel and would have some one like hillery duff as the main charter.
