Criminal Justice Degree

Do any of you have a degree in Criminal Justice and/or are participating in that career. I am 18 years old and am deciding if I should go into that career or not. I know that I will enjoy it but am not so sure if the money is all that great. I am deciding between this and computer networking which will be a great deal more cash but I doubt I will enjoy it in any way. I do NOT want to be a cop persay, Im more into detective work and such. I was just wondering if any of you are involved in this type of work and if so is it worth it and is it a good career to get into?

I preffer not reply until my lawyer arrives......fuck shit I'm a lawyer, ok I realy don't know it works in your country, but in Spain if you got university degree, you can make a public prube to acced to investigation area of national police corp, or to science corp. If you don't have that degree you have to start from the bottom of the police corp....as a prowler on local police....and with the time and some proffesional merits some day you could became a detective.

Well otherwise here police men were not pretty well paid....that explains how they work.

Other question could be , and what happens if I study criminalist science and I will work as a private detective??? well that means a lot of work and cost that you had to affort by your self, so you had to wait maybe a year until you can had proffits from your work.
