Brutal Massacre: A Comedy was weak imho, it just didn't keep my interest at all and a lot of the jokes and gags fell flat. I'll probably end up picking up Hellraiser (anniversery edition), Hatchet, Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer, 28 Weeks Later, and Mothman Prophecies.

$6.99-
Halloween 25 Years of Terror
Hostel
Dawn of the Dead (orig.)
Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer
28 Week Later
AVP
Donnie Darko
Evil Dead
Evil Dead II
Halloween
Hatchet
Hellraiser
The Hills Have Eyes 2(remake)
Hollow Man
Hostel II
Land of the Dead
Mr. Brooks
Resident Evil Extinction
Saw III
Shaun of the Dead
Silence of the Lambs
Vacancy

$4.99-
Saw II
Friday the 13th The Ring
American Psycho
28 Days Later
Alien
Aliens
Bug
Candyman
Children of the Corn
Child's Play
Christine
The Covenant
The Descent
From Hell
The Grudge 2
The Grudge
The Hills Have Eyes (remake)
The Howling
Identity
Jeepers Creepers
The Mothman Prophecies
Nightwatch
Phantasm
Saw
Turistas
Wrong Turn
Zodiac

I loved American Psycho and Shaun of the Dead...I bought American Psycho for $4.99 at Target on a whim actually...haven't had a chance to see the other two yet though.

Good opportunity for everyone to grab a copy of Mr. Brooks - great movie that got completely overlooked. One of my favourites of last year, but it seems like NOBODY's seen it.

Really? Isn't that the Dane Cook movie? I think I passed it up because although I can have fun with Dane Cook's comedy I wasn't looking forward to seeing him "act". He was an alright character in Dan in Real Life though.

I bought it for $1.99, didn't like it, and gave it to my brother. I bought it because the store didn't have a rental available at that time, and buying the used DVD was cheaper than renting ($3.99) it. I thought Kevin Costner was ok. He's a fairly good actor but I didn't like his alter-ego. Bad acting, in my opinion.

Too bad I don't have a Best Buy in my town. There's one about 40 miles from here. I'm going over there tomorrow but I usually don't buy movies. I like several on the list, but most of them can be rented for $1.99 (per week) here. I don't watch many movies more than once. If they had Joy Ride on sale, I'd buy that.

That's the one.

Cook really surprised me...his comedy annoys the hell out of me an I was expecting to hate him, but he actually does a pretty good job. His character is slimy as hell and not too bright, so it suits him. Nothing Oscar caliber, but way better than you' expect.

Plus William Hurt as Costner's other half is brilliant. One of his best performances in years.
