puppet master

crazy, i've seen hundreds if not thousands of horror movies but i've never seen a puppet master flic. i was just cruising the net and was shocked to learn that there are actually 9 of these movies. they must be doing something right to warrant all those sequels. is anybody a fan of this series? are any of these movies really good? is it worth wasting a rainy sunday and watching the whole series?

the first few range from fun/good to semi decent. i don't think ive seen any of them beyond #4. I really wish they would re-release this box set so i could pick it up and see them all.

I actually watched the first one this morning for the first time...kinda dumb in places, but it's pretty enjoyable.

I have Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys sitting on my shelf, but I havent got around to watching it yet.

it looks like this could be a tough series to view in its entirety. most of them seem to be out of print and quite expensive on ebay and amazon. even netflix only has a couple of them.
