red dot flash in silent hill
recently i have been seeing red dot formations appear on the screen during certain movies. the most recent was silent hill. they last only a frame but they are definately there. the first one i noticed was like this: oo
oooo oo oo and the second like this: o o ooo after i mentioned to a mate, he also saw a formation. it isnt the first time its happened to me. has anyone had this happen? and/or know what the hells going on?

they are different to cigarette burns that appear in the top right hand side of the film before a splice. they are in the middle of the screen and are definately red dots in certain formations.

They put them on movies in theaters to discourage camera bootlegging. It's fucking stupid, I know.
