Night of the Demons

I was just wondering if anybody has seen this movie...apparently it just got released on DVD not TOO long ago.

The reviews on amazon seem pretty good. I'm into 80's B horror movies, so it SEEMS like something I should enjoy...but I was curious what everyone here thought :)

Nobody's seen "Night of the Demons"? C'mon you guys! ;) Then again...I haven't seen it either. So I guess I'm not one to talk;)

Yes, I have in fact seen this movie. My brother loves it and recommended it to me because I love bad '80's horror. And this certainly is bad '80's horror. It is entertaining. But the acting and dialogue is just awful.

No problem. Have you ever seen Trick or Treat? One of my personal favorite just plain bad '80's horror movies.

Somebody stop me, I have to get some sleep and I can't pull myself away from this place.

No, actually I haven't....it sounds familiar though. I'll check that one out too.

I know what you mean about not being able to leave here. I'm falling asleep at my computer...not sure why i'm torturing myself;)

I only saw this recently, but I liked it a lot. I enjoy a cheesy 80's movie from time to time also. And the animated opening title sequence is great.

Perfect...I think I'll try and rent it this weekend if I can find it. I'll let you know how it goes...Any other cheesy 80's horror suggestions? ;)

Well, I have to recommend a personal favorite of mine, NEON MANIACS.

It is a weird and silly film, I would even say awful, but many 80's horror films were. It also has a strange compelling side, and a sentimental, sensitive emotional quality that puts it on the "strange" list.

In a way, because part of the time it is trying to be a "date movie," it succeeds in being experimental. For that reason, although it is flawed, I like it a lot. It IS the 80's. I would seriously question the advice of anyone who tells you NOT to see it. You should see it.
