Rent or Buy...
Just curious, do you folks rent or purchase most of the horror movies you watch? How do you decide what is worth buying and what is strictly rental only.
I've come to realize that I buy way more than I rent. Most of the time I don't buy something unless I know I'll like it, (either by way of reviews or having seen it already) but sometimes I'll buy something "blind". Oh yeah, and I love video rental stores that sell used dvds. I just bought May on dvd for $5.99!!! :D

I haven't rented a movie in almost 10 years...I can buy them for just about the same amount that it costs to rent them, and I don't have to return them...So, I will never rent a movie again

I don't buy much...unless it's really cheap, or something that I'm sure I'll absolutely love and watch multiple times.
Usually I rent, order off Pay per view(and record), and I used to record almost every horror movie I saw on, when I had the movie channels.

It all depends. If I see a New Release that looks like it could be hit or miss, I'll rent it first. (I just rented "Detour' last night. It was okay, but I'm sure glad I didn't buy it.) If I see something that I've never seen for the same price it would cost to rent, I'll buy it. If I saw it in the theatre and liked it, and therefore know that I want to own it some day, I'll buy it the next time I want to see it as opposed to renting it.
Mostly buy, but sometimes rent.
