James Avery, star of 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' dies at 65

Actor James Avery, who played the beloved Uncle Phil on the hit 1990s sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," died Tuesday, his publicist confirmed. He was 65.

Listened to an article on the radio in the car this afternoon, the amount of productions his company produced per year was impressive.

About a week ago, producer Saul Zaentz died following a battle with Alzheimers. He won Best Picture three times - One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Amadeus, The English Patient.

Not to mention without him we could easily not have the Lord of the Rings or Hobbit series.

He may or may not have also been Santa...
