Recent Monsters

We all know about Alien and Predator, but here are a few very unique (not just giant animal) monsters that have come along in recent years that I thought were cool:

The Host monster
The Cloverfield monster
The Relic monster (whose name is Kothoga, I think)
The Jeepers Creepers monster

I love the truly unique, somewhat Lovecraftian monster movies.
What did I miss?

It wasn't a good film, but creature-wise I really liked the monster in The Cave. It was very well made.

Oh my God, how could I have forgotten The Mist?! I waited nearly 20 years for that story to be made into a film, and I loved the results! I think of that story every time I go to the grocery store on a stormy or foggy day.
